## utility/capabilities

`GET /v1/utility/capabilities`

Accepted parameter capabilities from the current endpoint registry, with endpoint-specific descriptions, examples, prices and availability. Free metadata read; no suppliers are called. Filter by platform, endpoint/parameter search or HTTP method.

*Parameter capabilities*

| Parameter | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `param` | no | One accepted parameter name, such as date_posted, fit or dry_run. Omit for the complete index. — e.g. `date_posted` |
| `platform` | no | Only capabilities used by endpoints for this platform. — e.g. `instagram` |
| `search` | no | Literal case-insensitive match on endpoint identity, purpose, accepted parameter names and descriptions. — e.g. `date_posted` |
| `method` | no | HTTP method filter: GET, POST or DELETE. — e.g. `GET` |
| `dry_run` | no | Read a zero-credit estimate without fetching sources, running AI, or reserving credits. Cache status is a snapshot, not a guarantee at execution. Accepted values: 1, 0, true, false. Case, spaces, hyphens and underscores are interchangeable. — e.g. `1` |

### Useful optional inputs

- `dry_run`: Read a free estimate before fetching sources or scheduling paid work. Zero credits; cache status and availability are snapshots rather than guarantees.
