## web/sessions/create

`GET /v1/web/sessions/create`

Open an interactive hosted browser session: returns the session id, status, expiry and the credits held (billed at creation). Up to three live sessions per account; the longest lifetime is fifteen minutes. Drive it with web/sessions/execute; close it with web/sessions/close.

| Parameter | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `url` | no | Page to open first (http/https) — e.g. `https://example.com` |
| `ttl_seconds` | no | Current five-credit session: 30–60 seconds; default 60. Longer sessions require separately reviewed pricing and are rejected before opening. — e.g. `60` |
| `activity_ttl_seconds` | no | Close after this many idle seconds (optional) — e.g. `120` |
| `dry_run` | no | Read a zero-credit estimate without fetching sources, running AI, or reserving credits. Cache status is a snapshot, not a guarantee at execution. — e.g. `1` |

**Cost:** 5 credits at list price per successful uncached response; variable-cost operations may quote or settle a different charge. Confirmed uncharged or refunded failures report zero. Pending reconciliation can report credits_used:null; retain request_id and the original idempotency key.
