Workflow
From question to auditable briefing
01Resolve before spending
Monocrawl checks which subject you mean before the paid briefing step. Ambiguous names return choices; insufficient evidence returns an abstention.
02Route and verify
Mosaic chooses useful sources for the subject, joins conversations, removes duplicates and checks generated claims against retrieved evidence. Automated interpretation can still be wrong; review the cited sources.
03Save the outcome
Briefings, clarification requests, abstentions and failures are retained in your report history. Reopening a report is a database read and costs nothing.
Result structure
The answer comes first; transparency supports it
| Order | Section | What it answers |
|---|---|---|
1 | Subject and scope | The resolved entity, related entities, exclusions and effective time window. |
2 | Immediate answer | A concise answer written only after the evidence pass. |
3 | What changed | Current developments kept separate from older context. |
4 | Themes and disagreements | Claims with supporting and opposing evidence. |
5 | Platform breakdown | Item, conversation and independent-author counts by source. |
6 | Representative evidence | Clickable posts, videos, threads and comments. |
7 | Raw results | The underlying normalized evidence used by the briefing. |
8 | Coverage receipts | What was attempted, what answered and how much evidence survived ranking. |
Statistical honesty
Counts decide how strongly a result may be presented
Thresholds use independent audience authors, not raw comments or owned promotional posts. Percentages never replace absolute counts.
Examples
< 10 authorsfewer than 10 independent authors — examples, not a measurement
Directional
10–29 authors10–29 independent authors — directional; read the counts

Reports
Saved URLs do not rerun the research
Saved research outcomes receive a tenant-protected report URL. Early authentication, validation or infrastructure failures may not create a report. Reopening it reads the stored result and does not contact a provider or consume credits. Your recent reports appear in the Research rail.

Turn a completed briefing into a monitor
Monitor the same resolved subject
Use the monitor action in a completed briefing to prefill the monitor setup flow. Monitoring is documented separately because scheduled checks, caps and alert delivery have their own lifecycle.
