Estimates assume successful, chargeable requests. A successful empty page is normally charged; exceptions are endpoint-specific. Check endpoint pricing and rate limits before sizing a workload.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Buy a one-time pack when you need credits. There is no monthly allowance, renewal or minimum commitment. Auto-recharge is optional and off until you enable it.
Do credits expire?
Purchased pack credits never expire. Use them at your own pace and buy more only when you need them.
How does auto-recharge work?
Choose a pack, a low-balance threshold and a maximum number of recharges per month. With a saved card and your explicit authorisation, we buy that pack when your balance drops below the threshold. You can turn it off in Billing.
What does a call cost?
The current credit costs are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 30 credits per request, depending on the endpoint. Paginated routes charge per page fetched. Check the endpoint pricing docs for the exact cost; the response also reports what was charged.
What about failed calls?
Errors cost 0 credits. Credits are reserved before a paid live request and refunded if it fails. A successful empty page is normally charged; any zero-result refund is endpoint-specific.
Can I try it first?
Every new account gets 150 free credits to try the API. No payment card is required.
Does a larger pack increase my rate limits?
No. Every key gets 600 requests a minute and 25 concurrent requests, on every pack. Some metered endpoints also share an account-wide fair-use ceiling per rolling 30 days, normally 25,000 upstream attempts. A larger pack does not raise these limits. Higher-volume arrangements require a separate capacity review.
