What are you building?

Finding creators by niche or keyword on Instagram, TikTok and YouTubeAn option with creator search. Databases search their own indexes with audience filters; data APIs search the platforms when you call.
New posts, views and brand tags from the creators you work withA data API that reads each creator’s latest posts when you call, or a database with its own monitoring or live endpoints.
Audience demographics, engagement and past sponsors before you book a creatorAn influencer database or Phyllo, which report audience breakdowns alongside engagement and sponsored posts. Eligible brands can also use Instagram’s own creator marketplace API.
First-party analytics from creators who connect their own accountsA consent-based creator API, or the platforms’ own routes: YouTube’s Analytics API for channels that authorise your app, and TikTok One for creators who authorise it.
Instagram and TikTok open their creator marketplace data to eligible brands and approved partners, and YouTube’s API reads public channels. Influencer databases sell creator profiles they have already built, consent-based APIs read the accounts creators connect, and data APIs read public profiles on request.

Does Instagram, TikTok or YouTube have an influencer API?
Each has an official route with its own gate. Instagram’s Creator Marketplace API searches creators with first-party insights, for brands Meta finds eligible and apps that pass App Review; its Business Discovery endpoint returns basic metrics on other professional accounts. TikTok One’s API covers creators on TikTok One, with access requested through a TikTok Partner Manager. YouTube’s official API reads public channel stats within a daily quota, and its Analytics API reports audiences only for channels that authorise your app.
Is there a free influencer API?
The platforms publish no prices for their own routes, which come with quotas, approval or consent requirements. Several third-party APIs let you start free: Monocrawl gives 1,000 credits every month, Bright Data 5,000 records a month, Apify $5 of usage a month, EnsembleData 50 units a day, SociaVault 50 credits and Influencers.club 10 credits. Ayrshare offers a 28-day trial, Phyllo a sandbox, and Modash testing credits after a call.
What is the difference between an influencer database and a data API?
An influencer database, such as CreatorDB, Influencers.club or Modash, sells creator profiles it has already collected, with search filters, audience demographics and contact emails. A data API, such as Monocrawl, Apify, Bright Data, EnsembleData or SociaVault, fetches public profiles and posts on request. Consent-based APIs, such as Phyllo and Ayrshare, read the accounts creators connect.
Can I get an influencer’s audience demographics through an API?
Yes. CreatorDB, Influencers.club, Modash and Phyllo return audience breakdowns such as country, age and gender for a creator. Audience data from the platforms themselves comes with conditions: YouTube’s Analytics API and TikTok One’s authorised insights need each creator’s authorisation, and Instagram’s Creator Marketplace API is for eligible brands. Monocrawl and SociaVault return audience countries for TikTok accounts.
Is there an alternative to the Modash or HypeAuditor API?
Modash’s Discovery API starts at $16,200 a year and its Raw API at $10,000 a year, with no monthly or pay-as-you-go plans. HypeAuditor sells its API as a separate paid service through its sales team; we found no published price. Among self-serve options, Influencers.club’s Pro plan with API access starts at $208 a month, CreatorDB’s paid plans at $79 a month, and Monocrawl gives 1,000 credits every month for public profiles, posts and creator search.
Which influencer APIs work with AI agents?
Monocrawl, Apify, Bright Data, CreatorDB, Influencers.club and SociaVault publish MCP servers with creator data tools, so assistants such as Claude or Cursor can call them directly. Ayrshare’s MCP server reads only the accounts creators link, and working with sub-profiles needs its Business plan. Modash’s API page mentions an MCP server, but the one in its docs searches documentation, and Phyllo has you add its endpoints to your own MCP server.
