The data

YouTube data,
ready to work with.

YouTube research works at two levels: the channel that publishes and the videos people watch. Start with a channel record for identity and public totals, then look up individual videos for their publication details and returned view, like and comment counts. Read the discussion on a selected video when you need context behind those numbers. This lets your application compare a consistent content sample instead of judging every upload by the channel’s overall size. Monocrawl returns these records as JSON, ready for your own creator research, content reporting or audience-feedback tools.

YouTube API endpoints

28 currently available operations, grouped by the data you need. Open an endpoint for parameters, response details and pricing.

28 of 28 endpoints

Listed credit prices are per request. Metered or variable-cost operations can settle differently; check the endpoint reference when budgeting.

Do channel uploads include video performance statistics?

Upload lists identify videos and publication details. Fetch video or videos for the public view, like and comment counts used in a performance comparison.

Why can subscriber counts be rounded or missing?

YouTube’s public channel data can report rounded totals or hide the subscriber count. Preserve the subscribers_hidden field and do not turn an unavailable count into zero.

Will every YouTube video have a transcript?

No. Transcript availability depends on the video and source. A successful channel or video lookup does not establish that a transcript exists.

What YouTube operations can I use?

The catalogue shows 28 currently available operations with their individual prices. Open an endpoint for its accepted inputs, returned fields and limitations.

How much does the YouTube API cost?

Start with 150 free credits. Paid subscriptions start at $29 per month for 10,000 credits, before applicable tax. Each operation has its own price. Check the endpoint reference for variable charges. Compare plans

How do I authenticate requests?

Use your Monocrawl API key in the x-api-key header. The endpoint reference lists any additional inputs needed for the operation. Authentication guide

What request limits apply?

Limits depend on your Monocrawl plan. The Free account ceiling is 600 requests per minute and 50 simultaneous requests. Endpoint capacity and Free daily protections also apply; these ceilings do not guarantee source throughput. Read the limits guide

What should I know about YouTube coverage?

Public subscriber totals can be rounded or hidden; they are not private channel analytics. Comments can be disabled and transcripts unavailable. An inline reply preview is not necessarily the complete conversation.

Is Monocrawl affiliated with YouTube?

Monocrawl is an independent service. Third-party names identify data sources and do not imply a partnership or endorsement.
