Sources and availability

This workflow uses Meta Ad Library advertiser search, company ads and video-ad transcripts. Facebook and Instagram are placements within that library. Other ad-library endpoints are separate workflows; their fields and availability differ.

What to keep in mind

The library, messaging notes and recurring comparisons shown here are examples you can build with the API, not a built-in ad-monitoring dashboard. A record missing from a later batch does not prove an ad was removed. Public creative does not establish spend, targeting, conversions or ROAS. Respect the applicable rights when storing or reusing media.

Questions, answered

About ad intelligence.

Which ad library does this workflow cover?

The interactive example is a Meta Ad Library workflow, with Facebook and Instagram placements. Search for advertisers, retrieve their ads and request supported video transcripts. Check the linked catalogue for other ad libraries and their current availability.

Can I monitor when a competitor launches a new ad?

Build recurring checks with the company-ads API in your own scheduler. Compare returned ad IDs and copy against stored snapshots, then send notifications from your workflow. Monocrawl’s built-in Monitors do not currently provide ad-specific launch, removal or messaging-change alerts. A newly returned ad is new to your records; check its source start date before describing it as a launch.

Can I search or highlight a video ad’s transcript?

The transcript endpoint returns text for supported video ads. Your application can search that text and highlight a phrase, as the demo illustrates. Transcription is a separate request and may not return text for every video; timestamps and messaging classifications are not promised.

Does ad intelligence show competitor spend or campaign performance?

No private ad-account access is provided. Creative, copy and source status help you research what is being advertised, but they do not establish conversions, return on ad spend or campaign success.
