Do I need a TikTok login or OAuth setup?

Public-data requests authenticate with your Monocrawl API key. You do not need to pass a TikTok login or configure TikTok OAuth. Create a Monocrawl account, collect your key, and send it in the x-api-key header.

Is this the official TikTok API?

No. Monocrawl is an independent API for supported public TikTok data. TikTok’s own developer products cover areas such as login, content posting and research. What are the TikTok API rate limits?

Monocrawl applies request and concurrency limits by plan. The Free account ceiling is 600 requests per minute and 50 simultaneous requests. These are admission limits, not guaranteed TikTok throughput. Endpoint capacity and Free daily protections also apply. If a request returns 429, wait for the retry-after interval before retrying. What TikTok data can I retrieve?

The current catalogue lists 36 available TikTok operations. The endpoint list below shows their individual prices and links to parameters and response details. Availability varies by operation.

How much does the TikTok API cost?

Start with 150 free credits. Each operation has its own credit price. Paid subscriptions start at $29 per month for 10,000 credits, before applicable tax. Check the endpoint reference for variable charges and the pricing page for plan terms.

Can I collect every video or comment?

The amount returned depends on the operation and source. Where a continuation cursor is supported, follow it to request additional pages. A single request is not a complete archive, and deleted, private or unavailable content may not be returned.

Does this include private profiles or TikTok Analytics?

These endpoints retrieve supported public data. They do not provide access to private profiles, direct messages or an account’s private TikTok Analytics.

Are TikTok Shop and TikTok Ads included here?

TikTok Shop and TikTok Ads have separate platform catalogues. Use those pages to check their specific operations, prices and availability.
