The data

X data,
ready to work with.

An X account timeline and a search result answer different questions. Use a handle to inspect an account profile and its own posts; use search to find public posts matching a topic or brand. Open an individual post when you need its returned replies rather than treating every mention as part of the author’s timeline. Keep the post URL and collection time with each record so your monitoring report can point back to the source. Monocrawl returns the supported public fields as JSON through one key. Search results and returned timelines are bounded views, not an exhaustive X firehose.

X API endpoints

16 currently available operations, grouped by the data you need. Open an endpoint for parameters, response details and pricing.

Listed credit prices are per request. Metered or variable-cost operations can settle differently; check the endpoint reference when budgeting.

Is X the same source as Twitter here?

Yes. The API route uses x. Supply the handle or post URL format required by the selected operation, even when a source link uses twitter.com.

Can search find every matching post?

No. The search route returns its supported result window, not the entire public X archive. Keep the query and collection time with your observations.

Why can X requests use different numbers of credits?

Some X routes are metered by returned results. The catalogue shows each current price; inspect the endpoint terms and the credits_used field for the settled call.

What X operations can I use?

The catalogue shows 16 currently available operations with their individual prices. Open an endpoint for its accepted inputs, returned fields and limitations.

How much does the X API cost?

Start with 150 free credits. Paid subscriptions start at $29 per month for 10,000 credits, before applicable tax. Each operation has its own price. Check the endpoint reference for variable charges. Compare plans

How do I authenticate requests?

Use your Monocrawl API key in the x-api-key header. The endpoint reference lists any additional inputs needed for the operation. Authentication guide

What request limits apply?

Limits depend on your Monocrawl plan. The Free account ceiling is 600 requests per minute and 50 simultaneous requests. Endpoint capacity and Free daily protections also apply; these ceilings do not guarantee source throughput. Read the limits guide

What should I know about X coverage?

Public search and scheduled checks are not the complete X firehose or a guarantee of every matching post. Timeline, replies and mentions are different operations. Metered endpoints can cost more as the result count grows.

Is Monocrawl affiliated with X?

Monocrawl is an independent service. Third-party names identify data sources and do not imply a partnership or endorsement.
