The data
A Reddit finding is more useful when you can see which community discussed it and what people actually said. Search for a topic, inspect the matching post, and retrieve its comments before drawing a conclusion. Keep the subreddit, title and source link with your notes so the discussion remains easy to revisit. Scores and comment totals describe the returned thread; they are not a substitute for reading the replies. Monocrawl supplies structured post and comment records for your application to organise into product-feedback research, community comparisons or source material for an assistant.
Find posts matching a topic before deciding which threads deserve a closer read.
query → postsKeep a post’s title, subreddit, score and comment count with the source discussion.
post → threadRead returned comments while preserving partial-tree and completeness warnings.
post → commentsInspect a community’s identity and available counters. Legacy subscriber and online counts may be unavailable; weekly activity is a separate measurement.

Use subreddit/search with the community and query. Consult its parameters for supported sorting and timeframe filters.
A live count is not guaranteed. active_users and subscribers are legacy counters and may be null. weekly_active_users carries a separate source-reported weekly measure when supplied. Missing values do not mean zero, and weekly users are not a substitute for members or users online now.
Not necessarily. Large threads can contain unexpanded replies or incomplete trees. Preserve response warnings and continue only with the pagination the operation actually supports.
No. Keep the returned score as a Reddit score, including negative values when present. Do not relabel it as likes or use it as a count of individual people.

Limits depend on your Monocrawl plan. The Free account ceiling is 600 requests per minute and 50 simultaneous requests. Endpoint capacity and Free daily protections also apply; these ceilings do not guarantee source throughput. Read the limits guide
Private, deleted or inaccessible discussions are not a retrievable public archive. Comment trees can be partial. Read completeness warnings and use continuation only when the response supports it.
