Can I get alerts when something changes on X?

A monitor starts from its first check and reports new posts after that. It does not backfill older posts. For earlier posts, use X search in the API.

How often can a X monitor run, and what does it cost?

Every 15 minutes, hourly, every 6 or 12 hours, daily or weekly. Watching an X keyword search costs 1 credit a check: about 30 credits a month daily, 720 credits hourly. Every account gets 1,000 free credits a month, and a cap on each monitor keeps spending predictable.

Do I need to write code?

No. Build a monitor in the dashboard and send alerts to Slack, Discord or a webhook. If you prefer code, monitors are also available through the API and MCP.
