The data

Gumtree data,
ready to work with.

A Gumtree search is a changing window of local, seller-authored offers. Search by term and location, then open a listing to see its returned photos, price, category and seller context. Category filters and location lookup help narrow a watchlist; similar-listing results are a separate source suggestion. The Fujifilm example is a recorded camera listing, not proof of its condition or authenticity. Keep the listing URL, observation time and approximate location with any comparison, and verify the item directly before a purchase decision. Monocrawl exposes the supported public records as JSON for local research and monitoring workflows.

Talk to us

Does Gumtree listing data verify the item or seller?

No. A title, photo, condition and asking price are public listing observations. The API does not authenticate a product or guarantee a safe transaction.

Are returned locations exact addresses?

Not necessarily. Listing locations can be approximate. Keep the source location label and avoid presenting a precise map pin unless the operation actually supplies one.

What Gumtree operations can I use?

The catalogue shows 9 currently available operations with their individual prices. Open an endpoint for its accepted inputs, returned fields and limitations.

How much does the Gumtree API cost?

Start with 150 free credits. Paid subscriptions start at $29 per month for 10,000 credits, before applicable tax. Each operation has its own price. Check the endpoint reference for variable charges. Compare plans

How do I authenticate requests?

Use your Monocrawl API key in the x-api-key header. The endpoint reference lists any additional inputs needed for the operation. Authentication guide

What request limits apply?

Limits depend on your Monocrawl plan. The Free account ceiling is 600 requests per minute and 50 simultaneous requests. Endpoint capacity and Free daily protections also apply; these ceilings do not guarantee source throughput. Read the limits guide

What should I know about Gumtree coverage?

Seller descriptions, condition and price are listing claims; the API does not verify authenticity or safe fulfilment. Locations may be approximate, and an observed listing can be edited or removed after capture.

Is Monocrawl affiliated with Gumtree?

Monocrawl is an independent service. Third-party names identify data sources and do not imply a partnership or endorsement.
