Questions

LinkedIn API pricing,
answered.

How much does the LinkedIn API cost?

LinkedIn publishes no API price list. Its API Terms of Use say it does not currently charge for the APIs, and reserve the right to start. The cost is access: most data products need an approved application, and several partner programs take no new partners.

Is there a free LinkedIn API?

Two products are self-serve: Sign In with LinkedIn, which returns the signed-in member’s name, photo and email, and Share on LinkedIn, which only posts. Neither reads other members or companies.

Can the official API read any company’s posts?

No. The Community Management API reads posts only for Pages where your signed-in user holds an admin role. For other companies it returns basic details such as the name, logo and follower count.

Can I look up profiles or search for people?

Not as an ordinary developer. The Profile API is limited to approved developers and needs a person ID it doesn’t let you look up. Sales Navigator’s APIs show profiles only to paying seat holders and take no new partners.

What does Sales Navigator cost?

Core is $119.99 a month or $1,079.88 a year per seat, and Advanced $159.99 a month or $1,799.88 a year. Advanced Plus, the CRM integration tier, is quoted.

What does Monocrawl cost for LinkedIn?

4 credits for a page of 10 company posts, 5 for a profile or company page, 8 for a people search. The free plan has 1,000 credits a month; Starter is $29 for 10,000.
