The data
A stock symbol alone can be ambiguous, so the market and exchange belong in every quote record. The AAPL:NASDAQ example shows a source price, currency and as-of time from one recorded Google Finance response. Ticker search helps find a matching instrument; markets and explore return broader windows that should remain separate from a single-company quote. Prices and percentage changes can move before a reader acts, and an archived value is not a live feed or investment recommendation. Monocrawl returns these public market records as JSON for research dashboards that label the instrument, location and observation time instead of presenting an old number as current.

No. It is the price in a recorded quote with its own as_of timestamp. Request current data and keep the source time visible before using it.
Use the exchange-qualified ticker. Different instruments can share a short symbol, and a quote’s currency and market context matter.

Use your Monocrawl API key in the x-api-key header. The endpoint reference lists any additional inputs needed for the operation. Authentication guide
Limits depend on your Monocrawl plan. The Free account ceiling is 600 requests per minute and 50 simultaneous requests. Endpoint capacity and Free daily protections also apply; these ceilings do not guarantee source throughput. Read the limits guide
A captured quote is not live market data or investment advice; preserve its as-of time. Exchange, region and currency are part of a price record and must not be inferred from a bare symbol.
