The data
News search is a discovery window, not a publication database or full article feed. A recorded English-language US query for “artificial intelligence” over one week returned ten mixed results. The selected first row links to an OpenAI announcement and records its search rank and source URL. Use different keywords or regions to build a topic watch, but compare results only with their query, time range and checked-at time attached. Relative publication labels such as “6 hours ago” age immediately, and the provider’s derived timestamp is estimated, so this excerpt avoids both. Open the original source before quoting an article.
