Recorded excerpt. Values may change; missing fields stay null.
The data
A Google Trends point is relative search interest, not the number of searches. The recorded “electric cars” request covered the United States over the past 12 months. This example selects a completed April 2026 weekly interval from its returned series and keeps both dates beside the normalized value. Interest answers a time-series question; related queries help discover adjacent terms, while trending returns another regional window. Their values should not be merged without matching geography and time range. Monocrawl returns the public trend records as JSON so charts can show exactly which query and interval each observation represents.

Google Trends APIs compared
No. It is a normalized interest value within the selected query, location and time range. It is not search volume or unique people.

Trend values are normalized relative interest, not absolute search counts or unique users. The latest interval may be incomplete and regional or time-range choices change the comparison.
