No seller account, affiliate approval or retailer app.

Do Target, Home Depot, Sephora, Kohl’s, H&M and Wayfair have public APIs?
None of the six publishes a public product API that we could find. Target’s Seller API is for Target Plus sellers, an invite-only marketplace for U.S.-registered businesses, and covers their own products, prices and inventory. Wayfair’s Supplier APIs serve suppliers already selling with Wayfair, through Partner Home. Home Depot gives accepted affiliates a daily product data feed through Impact, while Target’s and Kohl’s affiliate programmes run on Impact and Sephora’s on Rakuten, with no product feed listed. For public product data, a data API needs only an API key.
Which retailers does each data API cover?
Bright Data lists scrapers for all six. Monocrawl returns product data from Target, Home Depot, Sephora, Kohl’s and H&M, and shopper reviews from Wayfair; it also returns the supplier and factory record H&M publishes for a product. Apify’s E-commerce Scraping Tool lists Target, Home Depot, Sephora, Kohl’s and Wayfair among its search and review stores. Unwrangle covers Target, Home Depot and Wayfair; Decodo and Piloterr cover Target; and Scrape.do covers Home Depot.
Is there a free retail product data API?
Target’s and Wayfair’s own APIs publish no price, and Home Depot’s affiliate programme is free to join, but each is only for its sellers, suppliers or affiliates. For public product data, most data APIs let you start free: Monocrawl gives 1,000 credits every month, Bright Data 5,000 records a month, Apify $5 of usage a month and Scrape.do 1,000 credits a month. Decodo has a free plan with 1,000 premium requests, and Piloterr gives 500 credits.
Can a retail price API track prices and stock at one store?
Yes, with several options here. Monocrawl’s Target calls take a store ID for price and stock, and its stores call finds the IDs near a place; its Home Depot calls take a store number, and its Sephora availability call lists which stores near a point stock a SKU. Scrape.do returns a Home Depot product page as one store serves it, Decodo takes a Target store ID or delivery ZIP code, Unwrangle’s Target and Home Depot calls take a store number, and Bright Data’s Target scraper takes a ZIP code.
Can I get reviews from these retailers through an API?
Yes. Monocrawl returns shopper reviews from Target, Home Depot, Sephora, Kohl’s and Wayfair: Target’s ten a page with the rating distribution, Sephora’s with verified-purchase badges and Kohl’s with secondary ratings such as fit and comfort. Apify’s E-commerce Scraping Tool collects reviews from the same five, Bright Data lists a reviews scraper for each of the six, and Unwrangle has Target and Home Depot review endpoints. Decodo and Piloterr return a Target product’s rating.
Which retail product data APIs work with AI agents?
Monocrawl, Apify, Bright Data, Decodo and Piloterr publish their own MCP servers with tools for these retailers, so assistants such as Claude or Cursor can call them directly. Apify’s can run its E-commerce Scraping Tool, Bright Data’s has a Home Depot product tool, and Decodo’s and Piloterr’s cover Target.
Method
How we compared.
What’s includedThe retailers’ own seller, supplier and affiliate routes, plus data and scraping APIs that document an endpoint or scraper for at least one of Target, Home Depot, Sephora, Kohl’s, H&M and Wayfair, come up across retailer API searches and comparison lists, and publish their pricing or offer a trial.
What we comparedWhich of the six retailers each vendor covers, what product data it returns, and its pricing, free allowance and access, read on its own pages. “Best” here means worth comparing, not a ranking from tests: we have not run their APIs.
