The data

Markets data,
ready to work with.

Historical price data needs an interval, market and date to mean anything. The recorded AAPL response contains daily bars for NasdaqGS in USD; the selected 17 September bar shows its close and volume rather than a supposed live quote. Finance also has separate operations for options, statements and news, so a price chart should not silently stand in for a company’s reported results or an executable option price. Keep symbols exchange-qualified where possible and retain source periods when joining records. Monocrawl returns this public market data as JSON for dashboards and research workflows that make the observation date visible.

Listed credit prices are per request. Metered or variable-cost operations can settle differently; check the endpoint reference when budgeting.

Before you build

Markets API questions,
answered.

Need to check a particular workflow?
Talk to us

Is the AAPL close shown here a live quote?

No. It is the close value in a daily bar dated 17 September 2026. Request fresh data for another observation and never present this excerpt as a trading price.

Can I compare options and statement values without their dates?

No. Option expiries and reported fiscal periods describe different time frames. Preserve those labels before combining them with price history.

What Markets operations can I use?

The catalogue shows 4 currently available operations with their individual prices. Open an endpoint for its accepted inputs, returned fields and limitations.

How much does the Markets API cost?

Start with 150 free credits. Paid subscriptions start at $29 per month for 10,000 credits, before applicable tax. Each operation has its own price. Check the endpoint reference for variable charges. Compare plans

How do I authenticate requests?

Use your Monocrawl API key in the x-api-key header. The endpoint reference lists any additional inputs needed for the operation. Authentication guide

What request limits apply?

Limits depend on your Monocrawl plan. The Free account ceiling is 600 requests per minute and 50 simultaneous requests. Endpoint capacity and Free daily protections also apply; these ceilings do not guarantee source throughput. Read the limits guide

What should I know about Markets coverage?

Historical closes and the latest price in a response are dated market data, not a live trading feed or advice. Financial statement periods and option expiries must remain labelled; missing rows are not zero values.
